John Wood Group PLC said that its deal in the UK was done. The sale included its engineering work for transmission and distribution.
The business’s main focus is on power infrastructure services in the UK. After following the rules, ownership has passed to United Infrastructure.

Transaction Closed With £57.5 Million Cash Consideration
The deal was worth £57.5 million in cash. After costs related to the deal, the net proceeds were about £55.1 million.
There was an announcement about the deal at the beginning of December. On December 30, 2025, it was officially finished.
United Infrastructure Acquires UK Power Engineering Operations
UI Telecoms & Power Holdco Limited was the buyer. The company does business as United Infrastructure.
United Infrastructure is expanding its presence in power engineering services. The purchase makes it stronger in the UK energy market.

Completion Marks End Of Wood’s Ownership Of UK T&D
The sale officially ended Wood Group’s ownership of the unit. The deal was done at the end of the year twenty-five.
