Gama Aviation Expands Sharjah Operations With New Facility

Gama Aviation has said that its state-of-the-art Business Aviation Center (BAC) at Sharjah International Airport is making great progress. The initiative is a multi-million-dollar investment that will improve the efficiency of aircraft maintenance and operations in the Middle East.

The location covers 80,000 square meters and shows Gama Aviation’s long-term commitment to the UAE and the rest of the EMEA region. When it’s done, Sharjah will be a key center for parking, maintenance, and technical support for business jets.

A Purpose-Built Hub for Advanced Line Maintenance

The new building will have a 12,000-square-meter hangar just for storing and maintaining high-end planes. It will have wide-span doors, direct access to the apron, and built-in MRO facilities to handle a variety of large-cabin aircraft types.

Supporting services, including tools, parts storage, and locations for clients to see, will all be in one regulated space. This design makes the workflow as smooth as possible and cuts down on turnaround times by a lot, all while making sure the consumer has a great experience.

Enhancing Efficiency and Client Experience

Tom Murphy, the Managing Director of FBO Services at Gama Aviation, claimed that the new center will set new standards for private aviation. He stressed that every part of the Sharjah BAC was designed to strike a balance between safety, efficiency, and customer pleasure.

Murphy said that the arrangement helps operations run smoothly, which lets maintenance staff do inspections and service transitions more quickly. He also said that the facility will establish a new standard for business aviation infrastructure in the area.

Multi-OEM Capability and Future Expansion Plans

Several major original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) will approve the facility’s line maintenance work. With these multi-type capabilities, the location will be able to handle a wide range of private and business planes.

Gama Aviation also said that it aims to grow in the future as demand for maintenance, repair, and overhaul services in the region grows. As part of its long-term plan for regional expansion, the business may add more capacity to its scalable model.

Supporting UAE’s Vision for Aviation Growth

Marwan Khalek, the Group Chief Executive, stated that the investment shows that people believe in Sharjah’s future in aviation and economic growth. He said again that the initiative fits with the UAE Vision 2030 framework by improving infrastructure and making high-value jobs available.

Khalek said that Sharjah’s location and robust aviation ecosystem made it a great place for Gama Aviation to grow its operations. The project fits with the UAE’s national ambitions to make the country a world leader in aviation.

Partnership Strengthened With Sharjah International Airport

The Business Aviation Center is the result of a ten-year cooperation between Gama Aviation and Sharjah International Airport. Their work together has been centered on making high-quality aviation services that meet the needs of both local and international customers.

The BAC will make Sharjah a more popular place for business jet owners who need high-quality maintenance and operational assistance. It will also bring in new customers from the Middle East’s quickly rising private aviation sector.

Scheduled Completion and Regional Outlook

The Business Aviation Centre is on pace to be finished by the beginning of 2026. After it is open, the facility will be a regional center of excellence for line maintenance, MRO activities, and managing aircraft.

The initiative is a big step forward for Gama Aviation’s plan to grow its global network. It strengthens the company’s reputation for being innovative and providing excellent private aviation services in the Middle East and beyond.
