International Concern Over Rising West Bank Violence

Recent Report Of Deadly Attack Near Ramallah
The village of Khirbet Abu Falah, near Ramallah, was the site of one of the deadliest recent events. Witnesses said that dozens of settlers came into the village before dawn and confronted the people who lived there. After the fights started, things got worse and turned violent.
2 people who lived there, Thaer Hamayel, 24, and Farea Hamayel, 57, were shot in the head. Mohammed Murra, a third guy, later passed away from cardiac collapse brought on by tear gas exposure. Medical authorities confirmed the fatalities shortly after.
Additional Shooting Incidents Across The Region
Another incident occurred near Susya in the South Hebron Hills. Amir Shanaran, a 28-year-old Palestinian male, was reportedly shot and killed. In the same incident, his brother Khaled Shanaran suffered severe injuries.
2 brothers, Mohammed Azem and Fahim Azem, were also killed earlier this week. The attack took place in the village of Qaryut, which is between Ramallah and Nablus. Human rights groups recorded the shooting that happened during a settler raid.

Human Rights Groups Report Numerous Incidents
Human rights group in Israel Yesh Din said that there were more than 100 cases of violence by settlers. The group said that during the first 10 days of the Iran war, attacks happened in 62 Palestinian communities. Reported events included shootings, assaults, and damage to property.
